Photographed at the Heidelberg Project in Detroit, Michigan.
From “The Heidelberg Project is art, energy, and community. It’s an open-air art environment in the heart of an urban community on Detroit’s East Side. Tyree Guyton, founder and artistic director, uses everyday, discarded objects to create a two block area full of color, symbolism, and intrigue.”
Suffice it to say it’s weird, funky and more than just a little disturbing in places. And yes…intriguing.

An occasional photographer who doesn’t shoot as much as I’d like. By day I am a newspaper consultant and newsroom trainer.
