I’ve never seen a covered bridge before! Love the striking colour and where you have positioned this in the frame – great shot.
Thank you very much!
Have you read the book “Bridges of Madison County” Nice one Eric. :)
No but I did just watch the movie a couple weeks ago. A lady I work with mentioned that I should see it seeing what it was based on. Thanks for the comment.
There are a few more around my state of various types. I really enjoy them. Thanks for commenting!
Yes Eric I see the resemblance! Nice shot, looks like a cool crisp day!
Yes, it was a beautiful day in January and my first time out with my new DSLR. I was pretty stoked that day. Took me an hour to zero in on the right road that the bridge was on LOL.
I call that determination! I find alot of photographers are like that, I recently waded across a creek to get shots of a 17ft high water fall in Hells Hollow, not a smart thing to do on slippery rocks all alone, and I took many shots, my first of water falls, and im sorry to say the lighting was not good and my photos hmmmm. Ill have to go again.
That happened to me too, I hiked a ways back to some falls at a near by lake and some of the water was over exposed so they didn’t turn out good. Guess we chalk that up to experience and practice.
Love Bridges of Mad County – book , film and your shot !
Thank you, I was told I should watch the movie after I took this. It was good. Thanks for your comment.
Beautiful scene! Great photo!
Thanks Lanis, I have many photos of this well maintained bridge.
Nice capture…where is this bridge located?
Thanks Monte, it is near Welsh run in southern PA between Greencastle and Mercersburg.
