This old Morton’s Salt sign was sitting on the loft of an old train building, in Chambersburg PA, that the owner is going to turn into an arts workshop. The loft is going to be a fantastic place to do portraits. There are large windows on all 4 sides to bring in plenty of light. At present most of the windows are boarded up, but he plans to remove all the wood and open it all up. I’m so stoked about using it when it’s ready. Plus the downstairs could be used for just about anything art or photo related. I was so glad to meet the owner.
Nice photo of the Morton Salt. Nice idea for the loft. Is her renting the loft out, or just using it for himself?
Nope, my understanding is whenever he gets the windows all opened up and the loft cleaned up, he will let anyone use it, and nothing was said about a fee.

Nice coloring! Well spotted.
Thanks Crystal, it was pretty dark, so I’m surprised it turned out as well as it did.
