Took lots of pictures of the fireworks last night in Chambersburg’s Memorial Park. This is a composite of 5 different shots including the grand finale. I was playing around in Photo Shop to see what I could do.

Rarely do I comment on fireworks shots as I have never attempted to make any and they are usually a bit ho-hum.But what you, with your limited experience, have done here is terrific mate!Even though it IS a composite image and a bit tight in framing/cropping, it is an amazing assembly of 5 very well photographed pictures. Each has been caught at the peak of their explosions and you have a great collection of colour.Very well done that man!(Now you have to remember exactly how you made the shots for next time!) ;-)
Thanks for taking the time to comment Dennis: I very much appreciate it. I did read up on fireworks photography before going out, so I did have some help with camera settings. All ’n all I was pretty pleased with myself, and even more pleased since your comments.
awesome eric well done
Thanks Russ, I had fun doing it, both the taking and compositing.
Looks stunning Eric.
Thanks Sharon for your nice comment!
Wow, Eric, this is truly remarkable! INCREDIBLE composition. First attempt? WOW, could have fooled me! : ) What a GREAT comment by Dennis – how encouraging that must be! Great job on this Eric.
Thanks so much Ann. Yes I was very puffed up after reading Dennis’ reply, especially him mentioning he usually won’t comment on fireworks pics. Looks like you and I may actually turn out to be photographers after all LOL.
Ha! Yes, Eric, we may after all. : ) What a happy thought!
Thanks I appreciate your taking the time to comment.
