One of the things I learned to love in Italy was the way some places lit up the dark night in neon light.
A triperia (I think), selling the very local snack you might know as tripe. Walk out of the medieval gate of Oltrarno, away from where all the highlights are, away from the tourists, and Florence becomes a provincial town like any other in Italy, but for one thing, I found this and I was quite happy with it.

Nice light – reminds me of home :)
I used to think of neon as cold, but I’ve grown to like it very much myself. :) Thank you!
