Florence/Firenze, in an alley close to the Ponte Vecchio. There had been a little bit of rain, which always makes things different and interesting. I was shooting the Vespas with the intention to use it for HDR when this odd man came out of one of the doors. Maybe he was a baker and I imagine him shouting “Subito! Now!” because he’s lost his patience with something or someone.
When I opened the file at home I thought it was pointless to do HDR with it, to me it looked good at it was and I didn’t do any postwork except the cropping.

This is an amazing shot – especially when all you did was crop. I too like the description. The picture alone took me back to Italy, but the description makes me feel as if I were there with you for a brief moment. Mi piace italia!
^ ^ Thank you, that is a wonderful compliment! I’m glad I’ve been able to share something of Italy’s wonder with you. :) And thank you for the favourite too!

Wonderful . . . I LOVE Florence!!!! :-)
The wet ground gives it a good tone to the light.
Thank you. I always like to take pictures just after it has rained, often it saturated colours too. :)
