    Thank-you. When the sun started to set and those high pressure sodium lights started warming up, I got excited. It made me feel like I was traveling back in time. This is just the way the shot came out of the camera- no touch-up.

    Love this shoot. Do you live by a hanger with these vehicles? I like the older service vehicles.

    Yes, the hangar is downtown in Columbia, SC. I happen to be friends with some of the members of the “Celebrate Freedom Foundation” who own and restore these vehicles.

    Great shot, I believe that is the B29, is that correct?

    It’s actually a B-25C. It crashed into Lake Greenwood, SC on a training mission during WW II and was recovered many years later. The men who take care of it have painted Jimmy Doolittle’s crewmembers’ names on it in memory of their place in history.
