Just thought I’d let my friends here know about my newest personal news – I’m engaged.

Angie and I have been dating since last October. On April 7, the first day of our vacation trip to western North Carolina, I proposed to her and she accepted. More info here I just started adding the wedding stuff to my site. More photos will be coming soon.

The vacation trip was great – I took photos at a bunch of beautifull waterfalls. I also handed the camera to Angie a few times and she did well. She claimed to be confused when I started talking about depth of field, shutter speed, aperture, etc. But she took some good photos without knowing about all that stuff. Maybe I can teach her one step at a time.

Anyhow, I’m busy, but I’m still here.
