I photograph landscapes because I live for experiencing nature firsthand. To feel the wind, to smell the ocean spray, to soak in all of the colors as the sun sinks further down is a full sensory memory I capture mentally. Photographing what I experience is a way to share these memories with others and so I never forget. As a child this is how I explored the world. Flipping through countless glossy magazines, I would daydream of visiting exotic locations. I would like to give this experience to you, the viewer, this feeling of stepping into your own private backyard, it is there just for you and no one else is around.
