HMS Endeavour was launched in 1764, as a collier and named the Earl of Pembroke, She was purchased by the Royal Navy and refitted in 1768, as a scientific ship. She carried Captain James Cook on his first voyage of discovery, to Australia and New Zealand The voyage was from 1769-1771. She was used for taking stores to the Falkland islands as a private merchantman, for 3 years, then shae was re-purchased by the Navy and took part in the american war of independence, where she was eventually scuttled off Rhode Island in 1778.

I paint draw and am an amatuer photographer.
My passion is realism, but I can relate to some abstract artworks, but I love to see life as it really is.
