Wyatt earp is probably the best known lawman of the wild west. Born March 19th 1848 he worked as a farmer, teamster and was the Sheriff, and Marshallwest towns, along with his brothers, Morgan,Virgil and Doc Holliday they cleaned up towns such as Deadwood, Kansasbstone. It was in Tombstone, Arizoneey foght the Clantons and Mcluaryes at the OK coral after the gunfight where Virgil and morgan were both wounded, the Earps left arizona for California where he lived for many years, he joined the Alaska gold rush, where he ran a saloon. he returned to California where he died aged 80, on January 13th, 1929
I love the moustaches these characters used to wear! I’m having a go at Salvador Dali at the moment. His moustache came up to his eyebrows. I may do a moustached portrait series. This is great George!
Thanks Margaret !! I as looking at Wyat’s brothers and they also have impressive ’taches too ! I was at Beamish yesterday and saw quite a few fake ones on the staff !!
