Ink drawing on heavy cartridge paper image size 12 × 10 inches. James Butler Hickok was born May 27th 1837 and was shot dead on August 2nd 1878, by Jack McCall in a deadwood salloon whilst playing poker ! He had a varied life, driving stagecoaches, a livery man for the pony express,army scout, gunslinger and lawman !
