Thanx for the advice Brian, I’m struggling with a shaky hand and trying to get only the picture in the frame without any background showing. I have deleted more shots than I have kept, but I will try harder !
Nice picture George. Is this a glass chopping board? The reasons I ask is that we had a set of glass plate mats and a glass chopping board. One day, for no reason at all, one of the glass place mats exploded, sending tiny shards of glass flying all over the kitchen. It wasn’t hot or cold, just standing on a pile of mats on the draining board. Thank God we were in the other room watching TV at the time, but it could have been nasty. I found glass ten feet from where the mat had been standing – scary! Took days to clear up all the glass. My wife disposed of the mats and chopping board just to be sure. I checked on the Internet and sure enough, it does happen, but it is rare, so I wouldn’t worry too much.
Thanks Dave this is a glass chopping board. the wife got tired of looking at it and gave it to her sister so l thought l would take the photo ! you were very lucky, l’ve seen it happen with pyrex dishes, they can cause serious damage !
