The RNLI is a Charity that saves lives at sea, it’s ships and boats are crewed by volunteers and is totaly funded by donations.
for over 150 years they have been rescuing stricken sailors and ships passengers from the sea.
The severn class lifeboat is the largest of the fleet and is designed to cope with the worst of weathers. It is self righting if capsized and the hull design makes it possible for it to operate in very shallow water.
All profits from the sale of this image will be donated to The Royal National Lifeboat Institute

Seascapes and ships, are probably the most difficult in watercolour.
This is impressive work, George. The turbulence of the sea is very effective here! Maybe have a go, the next time you do a nautical, at old saling ships, as I do.
