Nicely sketched scene, George. You’ve done well here, as this is not easy.
I love painting an old photo. I’ve quite a few in my gallery now. My own favourites are, ‘The Birth of the Mauretania’ and Felling Colliery’.

I had never done any pen drawing since leaving school (many moons ago), until l joined the Killingworth Art Group. There are good few ink artist among our members and they do some fantastic work !
