I had the same urge over the last ten years or so and managed to write (and finish) three sci-fi books. Never expected to do anything about getting them published but it was a very enjoyable self-indulgent exercise. Two were comedies the other more serious. I made ‘em up as I went along with no set structure so it was as much a surprise to me as it would be to anybody else. If you’ve got the time I’d certainly go for it. Apart from it being an enjoyable mental exercise, it’s nice to leave something behind which somebody my actually read some day. Cheers.
GEORGE SANDERSON replied
Thanks for the encouragement Brian, I will certainly have a go.
Wether anyone will want to read it is another thing !!!
