This small river birch had this beautiful curl of thin bark.
Taken near Alligator Lake, it is usually seen more along the Suwanee River sandy shores. This one lives in Columbia County, Florida.

I hadn’t really noticed this tree until today, I was talking with another photographer who was trying to find something to photo. It’s sometimes the little things that go unnoticed that are appealing.
