…why didn’t you wait for me?
will I ever appear in the black closet of your memory?
is my life, my existence, worth any less than your own?
we both want to live, without pain, without anxiety, with no regrets, a family with shared love…
…did you even recognise me brother?
… i was waiting for you

such a sensitive yet confronting image and your words are living, which has to mean in the black closet you were felt.
So many thoughts and emotions came tumbling… and just after we had spoken about my brother fox on the way to canberra… it brought back old, ancient tears of the intrinsic kind…
.. thank you

I can’t imagine a better title for this; straight to the heart. It’s beautiful, in a dark, gentle way…..which is the best kind of beauty, really. This is quite a remarkable image, right down to the perspective. And how telling that you noticed this in the first place, and stopped to look. I like it indeed.
the title is not mine… it came to me through a fading voice of incredible power, ego destroyed in an instant as i could only tear my heart open to listen… i miss him
