Orange Banksia
I do not know the technical name for these Banksia’s but they grow everywhere on the side of the road in Western Australia. We saw thousands of them during our trip in March and they looked absolutely wonderful.

People call them candlestick banksia’s I think.

Thanks for that Richard. I was hunting around for one for a while and thought I would miss out on a shot – then a lovely tree appeared while we were wandering through the Pinnacles National Park. That’s where this one was taken.
