Definitely Himeji-jo is one of my favourite castles so far. Maybe i wasn’t there at the right time (summer), might be more picturesque in spring (i definitely see it best in spring with hanami around etc and white castles wall etc..) ..but anyway, i’m glad you like the detail of it.
