Artist's Description

This is a three row panorama made up of 30 photos!

It was taken at dawn on December 13 2012 after A Wild Week Of Weather here in Perth, Western Australia which saw some of the most spectacular weather that I can remember all in one week as a slow moving storm kept circling around then re-formed and gave us another round of storms which lasted nearly the entire week!

This was taken on the morning of the final day of the storms (we also had storms to the East of the city later that day) Lots of rain throughout the South West of Western Australia during the week, with up to 210mm recorded in 1 day! We got 50mm of rain near where I live in one day, with 37mm of that falling in 37 minutes!

This photo shows two storm fronts, one above me, and another one over the hills on the horizon. It was very windy on this morning, and later on after the sun had come up, I got the chance to see and photograph some spectacular and very rare (for Perth) Lenticular Clouds!

It was a spectacular week for weather! be sure to have a look at My Journal Entry for more photos.

Canon 60D and 15-85 IS.
