We had some wild weather over the last few days here in Perth, Western Australia (September 3-4 2012) with heavy rain, strong wind, and hail.
I was photographing this approaching storm which seemed fine, then suddenly the wind hit me nearly knocking me to the ground and then it started to pour down with rain and hail. The wind was so strong, I couldn’t even open my car door! Luckily I had my back door open (hatchback) so I had to get into my car though the back. LOL
I later checked the weather observations when I got home for the area, and it said that area was getting 85km/h wind at that time!
I also managed to see some small Mammatus Clouds after the storm had passed which is unusual for a cold core storm.
