This was taken on January 20 2012 during a severe summer thunderstorm that moved over the Southern Suburbs in Perth, Western Australia.
There was allot of lightning from this storm that started around midnight, and continued on till early morning. It was the best thunderstorm that I’ve seen for many years, with lightning every few seconds, in fact this was a 30 second exposure and within the 30 seconds this was how many strikes I captured during the exposure!
It was amazing watching the storm, and I spent 3 hours photographing the storm until after sunrise.
