Beraking Brook, is small set of rapids that flow down a rocky outcrop and is located within the Mundaring State Forest in the Perth hills.
These rapids can be reached either by 4×4 or by bush walking down from Mt Dale.
The rapids aren’t flowing as well as I would have liked, but there is some water flowing this year due to some good rainfall throughout winter. It hasn’t been flowing for a few years though due to very dry winters.
The wild flowers are starting to show up now, and should start getting better over the next few weeks as the weather starts to warm up as we enter spring.
