Dingo Flour Mill - Fremantle Western Australia by EOS20
The Dingo flour mill in Fremantle, Western Australia.
The Dingo flour sign is a local Fremantle icon, and has been heritage listed.
The sign was first painted in the late 1940’s, but was painted over during the second world war, which was a necessary war precaution. After the war, the sign was repainted using the original outline and has been maintained ever since.

This building with its big red dingo has and is a real part of my memories. When a child living down south to travel to Perth was a big deal and i always knew we were almost there when i saw the big red dog :). and now although its faded and i live in Perth its something I still love to see.
