Some of the seamen who sailed down Australia’s west coast 300-400 are thought to have spotted The Pinnacles. They were unable to make landfall but their journals mention a ‘ruined city’.
Having been there I can say the scene definitely has a Sodom and Gomorrah feel to it – or maybe I should say a Hiroshima and Nagasaki feel to it. Or even a New Orleans and Galveston feel.
This pic however gives me a completely different impression. There were two giants fighting, and one belted the other so hand he knocked every tooth out of his head…
