Murchison River Gorge - Western Australia by EOS20
A Vertical Panorama of the Murchison River which flows through Kalbarri National Park in Western Australia.
The river was flooded when this photo was taken, due to heavy rains further inland which resulted in the river bursting its banks and closing many of the popular walk trails which were inaccessible due to the flooding.
If you look very closely, you can see a group of four people sitting alongside the river at the bottom, this gives you a sense on how wide the river really is, and how high the gorge walls really are!

Another fantastic shot – you have captured the Outback beautifully.
Great photo, love the dirty brown of the water and the blue in the sky
