Toodyay - Western Australia by

This photo was taken a few days after the 2010 Toodyay bushfire that had destroyed allot of farming property around the town of Toodyay about 100km East of Perth. The fire was started by a faulty power line, which had arched together after a day of strong wind and hot temperatures causing sparks which set fire to grass on the farming properties and quickly spread due to the strong wind and the high temperatures. Up to 40 homes were lost, and the area was declared a natural disaster zone.
