The exposure was 10 minutes.
Thanks, I guessed wrong, I was sure it was 15-30min! That’s quite a star trail for 10min did you use a longish lens, 70-200 or so?
No, I used a 17-40 @ f/5.6. The reason for the 10 min exposure was due to a full moon and strong winds meant that my longer attempts ended up with camera shake despite setting the tripod really low to the ground, and burying the legs in the sand.
This photo was taken away from the city, that’s why the stars seem so bright in this star trail.
