This photo was taken during a extreme low tide just after sunrise at Monkey Mia in Shark Bay Western Australia.
You could walk out about 100 meters from the beach before you got to the water! The location of Monkey Mia is one of the only places in Western Australia where the sun rises over the ocean.
As you can see in this photo the sun has been blocked by the large cloud formation, but can be seen in the reflections off the wet sand.This photo is a combination of 10 shots stitched together to create this vertical panorama!
Taken with my 20D And 17-40 f/4 L.
