Let The Light Shine Down by

This was taken at Burns Beach, Perth, Western Australia during a stormy winters afternoon. There were allot of Crepuscular Rays during this afternoon as the sun was getting lower in the sky and breaking though the few gaps that formed in the mostly overcast sky.

While walking along the beach I noticed this Crepuscular Ray starting to form over the offshore rocks, so I quickly changed lenses and managed to get this shot before the gap closed up again.

Oh this is just stunning. I love the amazing almost spotlight effect of the sun shining through the clouds.
Fantastic to see and so glad that you were able to capture this fleeting moment that will never be seen again.
    A FAV for me. Don.
