This was photographed at the top of Beraking Brook, a small set of rapids within the Mundaring State Forest in the Perth hills, looking back towards Mt Dale taken in September 2011.
The rapids aren’t flowing as well as I would have liked, but there is some water flowing this year due to some good rainfall throughout winter. It hasn’t been flowing for a few years though due to very dry winters.
The wild flowers are starting to show up now, and should start getting better over the next few weeks as the weather starts to warm up as we enter spring.
