Avon River – Western Australia.
This was a combination of two separate photos, one of the river which was shot at night and making use of the natural moonlight, and another photo of the milky way which was shot with my camera mounted on a tracking mount which was shot on another night while away from the bright city lights.

This is a really interesting shot EOS. What’s going on with the sky? Is that the effect crated from a long exposure. It’s a great capture.

Looks like the Milky Way is spilling into the river. A beautiful piece of work! Both captures would have stood alone, but putting them together has made the whole greater than the sum. This is an instant favorite of mine!
