Qantas A380 On Approach for landing at Perth International Airport on Tuesday October 14 2008 for it’s first and only visit.
I woke up and switched on the radio, and they announced that the A380 was visiting Perth that morning, and was due to land in a hour!, so I jumped out of bed, grabbed my camera jumped into my car and quickly headed down to the Perth international airport.
I was sitting in traffic just near the airport listening to the reports on the radio about how the A380 was doing a flyby along the coast, and then over the CBD following the Swan River which bought me some time, lucky I managed to find a spot a few minutes before the A380 made it’s final approach and came in for landing.
