Dingo Flour - Fremantle Western Australia

EOS20

Perth, Australia

Artist's Description

This photo was taken at dawn after a night of thunderstorms, we had a bit of colour coming though the clouds as twilight started and the storms were now moving away so I decided to go and get a few photos of the famous Dingo Flour Mill in Fremantle with the nice colour in the sky.

The Dingo flour sign is a local Fremantle icon, and has been heritage listed.

The sign was first painted in the late 1940’s, but was painted over during the second world war, which was a necessary war precaution. After the war, the sign was repainted using the original outline and has been maintained ever since.

Fremantle, Western Australia.

Canon EOS 70D And 18-135 IS STM.
