This photo was taken a Noble Falls in Perth Western Australia. Its one of many small waterfalls and rapids that run along the Avon river (Which is the river used for the worlds longest white water rafting/Kayaking event – The Avon Decent which is held in early August each year).

We have had some good rain the last few weeks so the river is flowing nicely this year (As you can see in the picture). Last few years have been dry, with some sections forcing the competitors to have to carry there watercraft across rocks due to the low water levels.
