A heron just out of the water drippdrying his feathers,I thought when I saw Him he looked like a monk in a cape of feathers ,so this was the inspiration for this work.It was a misty cold morning so it was going to take a while. Done mostly with a palette knife LOOK LARGE.

Lovely work Liz..a really beautiful moody scene…he looks as if he has it all to himself…
