I began my artistic journey jan 09,making an agreement with myself to work daily weekly monthly creating. The year is almost up.I have shown my work locally in northern communities.Have entered my first juried show and now have a painting touring for a year.Acrylics are my medium of joice but I have also tried watercolour ,ink.pencil crayon and one collage. I joined my local art club and have exibited with them also.Art efforts exhilarate me , I like to think I paint to live or is it I live to paint. Time passes quickly with brush in hand.This site is my next part of my art journey .To talk with other artists and get critiques of my paintings to help me grow as an artist. I come here later in life 66 years young but eager to get on with it as time is of the essence. I should also note that I will have been married 45 years early next year .I have two grown children and four grand children three of which love to draw too. I am retired some eleven years from nursing so have time now to devote to artisic adventures,and it is a real adventure and learning curve,this art.
