Spotted Pardalote Pardalotus punctatus.
The Spotted Pardalote is small bird that occurs mostly within the high canopy and is often only heard, not seen.
They occur across coastal areas from Cairns right around to Perth around the southern coastline, but their distribution also extends inland.
They forage within the canopy for insects, particularly psyllids, which glean off with their short, stout beak.
