TUTORIAL:Using promotional Image Banner

Customizing your Promotional Image Banner

This tutorial will show you how to customize the banner provided under the “promote” tab.
To make it linked to your bubblesite
change the link address from your profile to your bubblesite
(My profile address)
<a href="http://www.redbubble.com/people/Envelope150">
to your bubble site address
(My bubblesite address)
<a href="http://envelope150.redbubble.com">
To change the number of images use this ;limit:6 just change the number to how many you want I use 6 for my bubblesite see it here D R Moore you can also change the background as well by using ;back_color:000000
Put these after username/recipe:banner
Here are redbubble theme colors codes
for black add ;back_color:000000
for white add ;back_color:ffffff
and for grey add ;back_color:cccccc
Example ”http://www.redbubble.com/people/envelope150/recipe:banner;back_color:000000;orientation:horizontal;limit:5/envelope150_banner.jpg

To use this on redbubble I would use the below code

!http://www.redbubble.com/people/Envelope150/recipe:banner;back_color:00000f;orientation:horizontal;limit:6/Envelope150_banner.jpg!:http://envelope150.redbubble.com

To use it on the web I would use this

<a href="http://envelope150.redbubble.com"><img src="http://www.redbubble.com/people/Envelope150/recipe:banner;back_color:00000f;orientation:horizontal;limit:6/Envelope150_banner.jpg" alt="" /></a>

Using the Badges, Buttons, Links…..
The instructions below will work for all three of these images provided by redbubble

These are currently linked to your profile page on redbubble. To change them to link to your bubblesite the link needs to be changed.
For this example I’m using the small button the code will vary but the link can be changed for all three.
Original HTML (linked to your profile in Bold)
<a href="http://www.redbubble.com/people/username?utm_source=RB&utm_medium=banner&utm_campaign=promo_badge_rb_logo" title="View my art"><img src="http://www.redbubble.com/bubblewrap/logos/rb_logo.gif" alt="Buy my art" /></a>

New HTML linked to your bubblesite
<a href="http://username.redbubble.com?utm_source=RB&utm_medium=banner&utm_campaign=promo_badge_rb_logo" title="View my art"><img src="http://www.redbubble.com/bubblewrap/logos/rb_logo.gif" alt="Buy my art" /></a>

    Great. do you know of anyway of selecting or specifying the images that get used in making the banner? It always seems random or latest first.

    Cheers,
    Max
