I’ve always loved to create, loved to draw and love colour.

As a child I was absorbed in all manner of things – drawing and designing prolifically, painting, pottery, plasterwork, paper mache etc

In my teen years I desired to be an artist but also wanted to be an Architect. I studied art and technical drawing throughout school and won many contests.

In my early twenties I gained my Architecture degree including studies and experience in art, photography, ceramics, product design etc.

My late twenties I continued to draw, sculpt, paint, photograph and design alongside working as a designer in a variety of Architectural practices.

In my early 30s I started my own Building design practice and continued to illustrate, draw, paint and photograph.

Now in my 40s I am enjoying the wealth of experience and yet the continued joy for life – I look to express this in my work.

From a creative perspective what fascinates me is the interplay between order and disorder, perfection and imperfection, concepts of God and man. I love classical symmetry but also love random interplays with that. I think that’s why nature fascinates me so much – you can look and see pure, perfect geometry but there as well are organic imperfections, disorder, variances due to growth and climate and adaption.

If you would like to be kept up to date with upcoming works and exhibitions please email me. Also if you are a gallery owner and would like me to exhibit at your gallery please contact as well.

There are lots of things that inspire me and art is one way I can explore that inspiration. Geometry – in its many forms, sacred, natural, pure. Golden mean, fibonaci series, penrose tiles, quantum physics etc. I like the interplay between the perfection of pure form and the imperfection of random/organic. Often my works are a mix of the perfect geometry with imperfect techniques – sort of like a duality between God/universe and man.

Writing

Connects

We find what we seek and often what we need is right before us but we are too distracted by our desire to have what we do not notice

Conflicts Resolve

Each time love was sought fear would tremble and shake, sweat, feel faint / And each time love grew stronger and fear humbly bowed

Waiting to not wait

Shall our perceptions limit and define who we are or do we leave the safety of definition / Beyond ourselves there is a whole world to discover about who we are

The tired bus

Floating into the waves of restoration I surrender to the joy of alternate realities and I am gone, deliciously surrendered.

The simplicity of complexity

Even in the present moment there are a multitude of feelings, an amazing avalanche of sensation, beautiful, delectable, powerful.

Perceptions & illusions

Vivid worlds of altered states, primal urges, loves and hates / Crescendo back into the dark as light begins to make its mark / Twilight zone, caught in between, claiming perceptions, leaving dreams
