“Sorry, Christmas Eve on a rooftop, saw a chimney, my whole brain just went, ‘What the hell?’ Don’t worry; fat fellow will be doing the rounds later, I’m just scoping out the general chimney-ness. Yes. Nice sides, good traction. …Father Christmas, Santa Claus. Or, as I’ve always known him, Jeff. " ~ The Doctor
“Look at these people: these human beings. Consider their potential. From the day they arrive on the planet, and blinking step into the sun. There is more to see than can ever be seen. More to do than – no, hold on… Sorry, that’s the ‘Lion King’. But the point still stands.” ~ The Doctor“Nobody important? Blimey, that’s amazing. You know that in nine hundred years of time and space and I’ve never met anybody who wasn’t important before. " ~ The Doctor
This is the time of year when I usually get the urge to cut some snowflakes. I had extra fun with this Doctor Who themed one, cutting Tardis and Sonic Screwdriver shapes :o) Each incarnation of the Doctor is unique although they are all the same being. I wonder if that is part of why he values unique individuals so much? He always seizes the opportunity to celebrate each encounter as the singular event it really is, unique and as temporary as a snowflake. The Doctor is a master at appreciating the extraordinary within the ordinary, and the most common average person is likely to peak his interest before they have even spoken.
