Anybody Seen That Girl in the Red Hood? by

“No, no! “Rare” implies dangerously cooked. When I say rare I mean just let it look at the oven in terror, then bring it out to me." ~ Wolf, 10th Kingdom

“Ah, the wolf did it. Talk about profiling. " Wolf W. Wolf, Hoodwinked

“You are as safe as a brick-built pig house.” ~ Wolf, 10th Kingdom

“Fear makes the wolf bigger than he is.” ~ German proverb

Our Lughboy, sweet but so sensitive. New people are scary until they’ve visited enough to become potential laps to sit in, so his “puff up, be loud and look scary” defense kicks in right away. If only everyone could meet him when he is well run and content like this! Guess our furry prince is just more sincere than charming. I bet lil Red’s Wolf looked twice as friendly when she came skipping up to him in the woods.

He looks a fabulous ‘Prince’ – I love the words to accompany this lovely capture !!

  • Once he gets to know you, he is the biggest squishiest sweetheart. Definitely a lover, not a fighter lol Glad you enjoyed, and thanks so much for taking the time to comment, greatly appreciated!

He is gorgeous, perhaps his natural station in life is just the role he assumes…all according to his heritage pack as you well know!

  • That’s it exactly Pamela. He is very devoted to his pack. But, being the least dominate out of his litter makes it very hard for him as that doesn’t change the fact that he is compelled to act as protectively of as his pack as he can. He’s a bundle of nervous energy, but he’s also family and we love him just as he is. We just have to remind him who is Alpha pretty regularly.

Wow, now there’s a happy thought! Well done Quinn and fabulous image! Yes, whoever made up such nasty fairy tales anyway…and why??? Love this! XOXOXOXXOXOXOOX

  • Well Shar, much as I love them both… Dogs are most definitely not Wolves. Wolves were once legit predators of our species, and are still pretty darn scary in the right situation. It makes sense for the Wolf to be the hungry bad guy with designs to eat you. Actually, it has also been noted that Wolves will often go out of their way to attack Dogs. From their viewpoint, they are defective wolves who act like irresponsible frivolous puppies, and choose to live devoted to people rather than the Pack. Lucky us, Dogs love us even though they know we are made of meat lol Glad you enjoyed this shot of our Lughboy! xo
