Casting Circles with Sigils of Fire and Air by

“I dance,

casting circles unseen,

tracing secret signs upon

Her skin.

With cries as sharp as hunger,

I rise above the clamor

of mortal din.

each heartbeat

keeping time upon

the Winds…

I cry your name!

Following my ruddy trail

will reveal the big picture,

and set your heart

Spirit Dreams

upon my back.

I kindle creative fires.

Urging you with relentless patience,

Hunt your Divine Purpose

which cannot evade your clutch

although it leaves no track.

Trust yourself

Body and Soul

to the Winds of Fate.

Sharpen your eye,

like lightning, strike!

Ignore the taunts of the Tricksters,

remembering always…

For all our many differences,

how much Creator made us alike.”

This poem is inspired by the Redtail Hawk. The picture gives us a glimspe of another airy raptor Teacher and potential Balancer for Redtail, the Falcon. Falcon brings us lessons on Mental Agility, Speed, and Grace, Focus, Precision in Thought coupled with Action, Persistence, Intensity, and when to Commit to acheive Sucess. Like Hawk and other Raptors, Falcon is often a Spirit Messenger.

I look to All My Relations for advice, wisdom, and inspiration. I’m a Gemini with Pisces rising…everything else is subject to change without notice.

wow! I especially love this amazing write and tribute. the image is perfect and I do believe I see one way in the distance? wonderful post! xoxoxoxoxo

  • Not our usual Redtail so common to this area, but one of it’s Balancers. This lovely Falcon and his mate often corral, capture and feast upon their meals in the woods just around our home. It just so happened I was taking pictures of this young Moutain Ash as the Falcon was circling. Glad you enjoyed both words and imag, Shar! xo
