i saw you…
dropped upon a sandy shore
twitching foetal
grains of sand embedded in your skin
the tide not yet risen
soon, to be in
Time stretched until forever
flames of gold and orange dip into the sea
its ripples seem to sting
salt on open wounds
tide is rising, it begins
In reflection, glimpsed the past
sinking slowly
into sand at last
a chill runs up your spine
the water soothes your burning skin
caressed as you are
rythm and motion ,coming in
Immersed in gentle lapping sounds
you let the healing begin
moans across the water
whale song within
mind and body cleansed
senses
yours to feel
renewed
again
pleasure in healing
ecstacy of being
