Best viewed LARGE (click on the image) Oil on Board 405 × 506 mm (16 × 20 inches) This is a development of a smaller painting ‘Soaring’ which I uploaded a while ago. The changed proportions demanded a different treatment, hence the fighting Australian Magpies in the foreground.
LOVE YOUR WORK! This is absolutely stunning and a fantastic composition. The magpies in the foreground are a master touch, and I love the little touches of red on the left hand sapling and the roof of the shed. Gotta go into the favourites!!!!
Thanks Lynda. Always good to get your detailed feedback.

That’s a scenario me and my wife watch every day off our back deck with the mocking birds….beautiful rendition.
Thanks Daniel. Australian Magpies can be an argumentative bunch.
