Hello, basically a little about me is that i am a graphic designer/illustrator/”artist.” i put artist in quotations because i believe a person can not really call themselves an artist. because one has artistic abilities, does not make them an artist.
i believe all art has a purpose, to tell a story, to change people, to help people, etc. Aristotle said, “The aim of art is to represent not the outward appearance of things, but their inward significance.”
i am also a Christian. Christ interrupted “my” life march 5, 2003 and since it has been an adventure of sorts. Now i am at a place where i am learning to merge what i believe with what i do in art. Not in a “cheesy” Christian artsy fartsy way that defines Jesus as a 30 year old white man, but instead finding ways to connect to others through art, as well as a means of worship, etc etc etc.
