The Alamo in San Antonio, Texas. This is the famous spot where freedom-fighters such as David “Davy” Crockett and Jim Bowie gave their lives in hopes of declaring the state of Texas free from the Mexican government. That dream was won shortly after at the Battle of San Jacinto where General Sam Houston cried out the infamous words, “Remember the Alamo!”
The Alamo is on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places

Very nice Gregory! My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Alamo. The information we learned and all of the artifacts on display were awesome.
