Arches National Park Sunset in Moab Utah. As I walked down the trail from the Delicate Arch the sun began to set behind the range of mountains in the distance. The sight was truly magnificent. Shot taken with a Nikon D60, 18-55 Nikkor VR lens.

I’ve loved Utah’s Color Country since I first saw it- living outside Las Vegas, NV (US) made it easy to pile on the motorcycles and buzz up for a weekend whenever we wanted. That’s an ancient tree in the foreground, twisted by the prevailing winds. I’ve noticed that in that part of the world the wind only blows twice a year: 6 months north, then 6 months south. It sure has done a beautiful job on this wonderful old tree.
