Into the Depths

a short autobiography in the form of a short story. This is for my language and composition class.

She stands before you with her long curly dark bown hair. She stares into your soul with her bright brown eyes. She appears to be 26 years of age and stands at about five feet and four inches tall. ” Stephanie” she calls herself. ” I have something of great important to speak about” She says now sitting at her desk.

” I’d like to tell you about myself before we begin this class” she begins. ” I come from West springfield Massachusetts where I live with my two parents sister and her two children. I am currently attending this college to gain my associates degree in Graphic Design. ‘Who is Stephanie?’ one might ask. Stephanie has always been the black sheep of her family. Born in Holyoke I was raised in Agawam Until I moved to West Springfield my junior year of high school. I waited several years before deciding to go back to college. “

As you wait for her to continue she stands once more and puts her long hair back before she speaks agian. ” I have always loved art. In particular, Fantasy art. Fairies, dragons, swords, etc. I have also loved different cultures. Especially the Japanese culture. They have a great deal of passion in everything that they do. This brings me to the part of the japanese culture that I am most passionate about: Anime. Anime is their version of cartoons. Long story short, it’s not for kids and should never be. The characters have a greater depth to them, back stories, growth in every way, and a reasoning behind everything they do. This also brings me to who I am as a character. If i were to describe myself as a character, I would Say that I am the Character: Uzumaki Naruto. Naruto believes strongly in what he does and has a strong purpose behind it as well.. He was shunned and set aside but this only gave him a motivation to try and prove them wrong. They believed him to be a monster and that he was worthless. He didn’t fit in with his peers and he was like a black sheep. I am like this. Not in the sense of the monster but for standing out too much that it put others out. In the end Naruto finally proved to his peers and the people of his village that he was not the monster that people thought he was. He proved to them that he was not worthless. He has an inner strength and sort of a stubbornness that helped motivate him. I have that same inner strength. Everyone told me that my art would fail and that I would amount to nothing with it. Well here I am. In college, proving that I can do something with my passion, that I can make it. I am proving them wrong everyday. Just like Naruto has. This motivation that we share is a pillar that stands strong and becomes stronger day by day by day. That is my story”

finally she bows in respect, turns towards the door and simply… exits
